A Lovely Visit

There’s nothing in the world like a perfect houseguest. I try to measure up to my own standards — buy groceries, clean up after myself, don’t make unwelcome racket, do the dishes, etc. I like to think I’m a pretty good houseguest.

We recently had a week’s visit from my niece, third of my brother’s four offspring; I am here to tell you that you should invite her for a visit even if you never met her…
